- I write nonfiction of all kinds -- literary essays, journalism, memoir, humor, reviews, and more – and my work appears in magazines, newspapers, literary journals, websites and anthologies. I work as a creative writing teacher, an editorial consultant and freelance editor. In a former life, I was an equestrian journalist and a public relations consultant. I've completed an MFA degree in creative nonfiction, and like everyone else, I'm at work on several larger projects, writing a memoir of linked essays and editing an anthology.

Takes me back. My son now 11, was about 3, I was on the phone, suddenly realised it was VERY quiet, went to see what mayhem he was wreaking to find poop everywhere, mouth, hands, modern art on the walls,toy cars running through it, you name it, it was covered. The house was a rental....yeek!! I was horrified at the mess. Then he turned to look at me with a huge grin and those big charmimg eyes of his and I collapsed laughing.Something for his 21st I think!!
